Serving Together at Lansing’s Advent House

Service is at the heart of sisterhood, and this volunteer effort at Lansing’s Advent House was a meaningful example of what can be accomplished when sorors come together with a shared purpose. Members of the Magnificent Mu Theta Chapter joined alongside the graduate chapter, Zeta Kappa Sigma, and sorors from SGRho GQ to support the work being done at Advent House. Together, they prepared and served meals to individuals in need, creating a welcoming and caring environment rooted in compassion and unity.

Throughout the day, sorors worked side by side to ensure meals were prepared, plated, and served with care. The experience was filled with collaboration, conversation, and connection, highlighting the strength of service when carried out collectively. This opportunity allowed chapters to serve not only the community but also to strengthen bonds across generations of sisterhood.

Pictured in service are Soror Johnson, Soror Steverson, Soror Allen, Soror Kulang, Soror Venn, and Soror Dziko, representing the continued commitment of Mu Theta to community engagement and shared service. The chapter is grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside fellow sorors and to support Advent House through meaningful, hands-on volunteer work.
